The processing mode used in Purchase Order Consolidator to signify when specific orders are being processed.

The parent route number of an intermodal route.

The column that is the leg number of an intermodal route.

This is the address book number of the origin of a shipment. This could be the address number for the branch/plant, the address number of 
a supplier, or the address number of a hub or de-consolidation center.

The address book number of a hub or deconsolidation center.  A hub number is entered for a load to indicate a pooled shipment.

The address number for the preferred carrier of the item. The customer or your organization might prefer a certain carrier due to route or 
special handling requirements.

A user defined code (00/TM) that describes the nature of the carrier being used to transport goods to the customer. For example, by rail, by 
road, and so on.

The schedule of freight and miscellaneous charges which are applied to a shipment.

The unit or flat amount of a freight charge.

A code that identifies the currency of a transaction. 

The type of rate specified in a table.  This could be a fixed amount or percentage, for example.

The basis used to calculate the charge.

The unit of measure to which the rate applies.  For example, if the rate unit of measure is tons, the amount is obtained by multiplying the 
weight in tons times the rate.

Either the total amount of distanced traveled, or the total amount of time spent idle.

A number assigned by the system to each routing record.

The contract number of an intermodal leg.

The number of days goods will be in transit. When a value is entered in this field, the Sales Order Processing system will subtract this value 
from the promised delivery date to calculate a pick release date.

The date when a transaction, contract, obligation, preference, or policy rule becomes effective.

The date on which a transaction, text message, agreement, obligation, or preference has expired or been completed.

This is a 2 position code that is reserved for the user.  JDE does not currently use this field and will not utilize this field in the future.

This is a 6 position code that is reserved for the user.  JDE does not currently use this field and will not utilize this field in the future.

This is a 15 position code that is reserved for the user.  JDE does not currently use this field and will not utilize this field in the future.

This is a 8 position code that is reserved for the user.  JDE does not currently use this field and will not utilize this field in the future.

A 15-position reference that is reserved for the user.  J.D. Edwards does not currently use this field and does not plan to use it in the future.

The code that identifies a user profile.

The number that identifies the batch or interactive program (batch or interactive object). For example, the number of the Sales Order Entry 
interactive program is P4210, and the number of the Print Invoices batch process report is R42565. The program ID is a variable length value. 
It is assigned according to a structured syntax in the form TSSXXX, where: T The first character of the number is alphabetic and identifies the 
type, such as P for Program, R for Report, and so on. For example, the value P in the number P4210 indicates that the object is a 
program. SS The second and third characters of the number are numeric and identify the system code. For example, the value 42 in the number P4210 
indicates that this program belongs to system 42, which is the Sales Order Processing system. XXX The remaining characters of the numer are 
numeric and identify a unique program or report. For example, the value 10 in the number P4210 indicates that this is the Sales Order Entry 
program.

The code that identifies the work station ID that executed a particular job.

The date that specifies the last update to the file record.

The computer clock in hours:minutes:seconds.

A code that identifies and defines a unit of information. It is an alphanumeric code up to 8 characters long that does not allow blanks or 
special characters such as %, &, or +. You create new data items using system codes 55-59. You cannot change the alias.

A flag indicating whether or not runtime error messaging will occur when an error message is issued from a business function.        0 = allow 
runtime error message handling.        1 = suppress runtime error message handling.

An option that specifies the type of processing for an event.

A code that indicates whether the item is subject to sales tax when you purchase it. The system calculates tax on the item only if the supplier 
is also taxable.

A code that identifies a tax or geographic area that has common tax rates and tax authorities. The system validates the code you enter 
against the Tax Areas table (F4008). The system uses the tax rate area in conjunction with the tax explanation code and tax rules to calculate tax 
and G/L distribution amounts when you create an invoice or voucher.

A hard-coded user defined code (00/EX) that controls the algorithm that the system uses to calculate tax and G/L distribution amounts. The 
system uses the tax explanation code in conjunction with the tax rate area and tax rules to determine how the tax is calculated. Each 
transaction pay item can be defined with a different tax explanation code.

A code that indicates whether the item is subject to sales tax when you sell it. The system calculates tax on the item only if the customer is 
also taxable.

A user-defined code that identifies a tax or geographical area that has common tax rates and tax distribution. The tax rate/area must be 
defined to include the tax authorities (for example, state, county, city, rapid transit district,or province) and their rates. Typically, the U.S. sales and 
use taxes require multiple taxing authorities per tax rate/area, whereas value added taxes often require only one simple rate.

A value in user defined code table 00/EX that controls how a tax is assessed and distributed to the general ledger revenue and expense 
accounts. You assign this code to customers or suppliers to set up a default code for their transactions. Do not confuse this code with the 
taxable, non-taxable code. A single invoice or voucher can have both taxable and non-taxable items. The entire invoice or voucher, however, 
must have one tax explanation code.
