Parameter Name | Data Item | Data Type | Req/Opt | I/O/Both |
szPromptForAlias_R35P | R35P | char | OPT | INPUT |
Use this parameter to specify the Data Dictionary Item that will be used to derive the destination User Defined Codes table via the
associated UDC Product Code and Record Type. This destination UDC table will then be searched using the value found in the "Report Variable for
User Defined Code" to derive a Description 1 value.
The user may elect to forego entry on this prompt and instead provide a UDC Product
Code and Table Type in subsequent prompts. Entry of both a UDC Product Code and Table Type is an alternative method to the one
described above and both methods are mutually exclusive. In other words, use one method or the other, not both. If however, the user enters a
response to all three prompts the default action will be to use the specified path provided via the UDC Product Code and Table Type. |
szPromptForUdcProductCode_R31P | R31P | char | OPT | INPUT |
Use this parameter in conjunction with the parameter associated with the UDC Table Type prompt to specify the destination User Defined
Codes table. This destination UDC table will then be searched using the value found in the "Report Variable for User Defined Code" to
derive a Description 1 value.
Please note that if a UDC Product Code is entered a valid UDC Table Type will also be required to complete the
path to the destination UDC table. Also, the user may elect to forego entry on these two prompts having provided a Data Item Alias in a
previous prompt. Entry of a Data Item Alias is an alternative method to the one described above and both methods are mutually exclusive. In other
words, use one method or the other, not both. If however, the user enters a response to all three prompts the default action will be to use the
specified path provided via the UDC Product Code and Table Type. |
szPromptForUdcTableType_R32P | R32P | char | OPT | INPUT |
Use this parameter in conjunction with the parameter associated with the UDC Product Code prompt to specify the destination User
Defined Codes table.
In
other words, use one method or the other, not both. If however, the user enters a response to all three prompts the default action will be to use
the specified path provided via the UDC Product Code and Table Type. |
szRptVariableForUserDef_R33P | R33P | char | OPT | INPUT |
Use this parameter to select a previously defined report variable via a drop down list. In this case, the selected report variable should
contain a valid value associated with a defined UDC Table. The path to this UDC Table will be specified by the user through responses to
several prompts. Ultimately, a Description 1 value will be retrieved based on the responses to the prompts and the value of the selected report
variable. |
szAlphaField_DS01 | DS01 | char | OPT | OUTPUT |
A free-form, 80-character text field. |
szErrorCode_ERNO | ERNO | char | OPT | OUTPUT |
The error number assigned by the JDE edit/update programs designating the exact error that occured. |
