A code that specifies the method that the system uses to retrieve the business unit, which determines the revenue account. Valid values 
are: 0 The system uses the building number as the revenue business unit, regardless of any business unit defined in the AAIs. 1 The system uses 
the business unit that is defined in the PMxxxx automatic accounting instructions.  If no business unit is defined in these AAIs, the system 
uses the building number. To direct revenues to business units other than the building, you must enter a value of 1. Note: The Expense Account 
AAIs (RMxxxx) are used in the same way during Accounts Payable processing as the Revenue Account AAIs (PMxxxx) are used during 
Accounts Receivable processing.

This flag indicates whether the edits and options for Lease versioning should be active. If selected, versioning is active.

This value will control whether the Property Management system utilizes tax processing or not. A value of Y or 1 in this field will cause the 
system to bypass processing of taxes and to not display fields related to such process. Any other value will cause the system to process 
taxes. Individual screens and reports may have processing options which will override the value entered here.

the system validates the rentable area, the total square footage of the floors cannot exceed the total square footage of the building. The total 
square footage of the units cannot exceed the total square footage of the floors.

An option that indicates whether you can edit versions of the lease. If you activate this option, the system allows changes only to the lastest 
version of a lease. When you access any other versions of the lease, the system displays a message that indicates that the version is 
locked. If you turn off this option, the system allows you to make changes to all versions of a lease.

An option that specifies whether the system displays an additional form to verify the transaction totals entered for each batch. Valid settings 
are: On The system displays an additional form when you enter invoices, receipts, and drafts. You enter the total number of documents and 
the total amount that you expect the batch to contain. When you finish entering each batch and exit the application, the system displays the 
difference, if any, between the totals that you expected to enter and the totals that you actually entered. Off The system does not display an 
additional form.

An option that indicates whether the manager is required to approve Accounts Receivable batches before they can be posted. Valid 
settings are: On The manager must approve batches. The system assigns a Pending status to the batch, and a manager must approve it before it 
can be posted. Off The manager is not required to approve batches. The system assigns an Approved status to the batch, and it does not 
require manager approval.

A code that specifies the beginning month of a standard lease year. Although various leases may start on different dates throughout the 
year, they can share the same annual schedule that the property manager establishes. When the beginning month is unknown, enter 01 for 
January.

This is the month which defines the beginning of the year for tenant sales analysis purposes. It is used in sales analysis processing to 
determine which months are to be included in QTD, and YTD numbers. If in doubt, enter 01.

This code will determine the key values which will cause a pay item to be grouped into an invoice.
